The 25th was the birthday of my mother and we think to celebrate it visiting¨Zahara de los Atunes¨, in the south of the province of Cadiz .After a trip of an hour, we come to this small and nice people of fishermen, with typical houses of Andalucía painted white. We walk along his narrow streets full of shops, street markets, bars and tourists. It was hot but the environment was agreeable. After a long morning in his beach of white sand and transparent waters, we rise to eating to a restaurant next to the sea, which had a few spectacular sights.There, we celebrate the birthday of my mother with a food based on fish and shellfish. To the return, we enter Conil, which was to the side.There we find a market of books, clothes and crafts, where we did some purchases. After having dinner in a typical bar of there, we undertook the return to San Fernando.Five days later, we return to our house with many nice recollections of our holidays

Five days later, we get up; it was windy and we couldn´t go to the beach. Then, we decide to go to the city of Cádiz.We began the tourist tour entering the monument¨Puerta de la Tierra¨, built in the XVIIIth century and that is the entry to the old part of the city. We leave the car in the zone of the port and, from there, we started to walk on the historical part. Crossing streets and nice squares, we came to the monumental cathedral built between the XVIIIth and XIXth century. This way, we came at the moment of eating and we entered in a nice restaurant with a view to the square.After a tea with tart in the ¨Gran Café¨, us we continue our walk up to coming to the¨Plaza de España¨ and his ¨Monumento a las Cortes de Cádiz¨, colossal set built in 1912 , composed by an enormous column and several sculptures. Tired but very satisfied with the visit,  we returned to the apartment to rest of an intense day.

A perfect holidays

This summer, we decided change the site´s holidays after many years visiting the cost of Portugal. The Atlantic coast like us a lot, but is cold and difficult to swim in the waves. Then, we decided to visit the province of Cadíz.My mother rented an apartment in the beatiful village of San Fernando from the 15 to the 30 of August.

San Fernando is a tourist village very lively with a parks and a central street full of tourists.

We arrived to San Fernando in the afternoon, at eight o´clock and Cádiz welcomed us with a beatiful sunset. We leaved the luggage in the apartment and we went to visit the tourist urbanization wich had a resort with a large swimming pool, games room, tennis court, nigthly dances and a huge shopping centre. After investigating, we went to dinner at a restaurant on the waterfront.
